- Acts as Transportation Manager on duty while on shift, interfacing with other unit processes to ensure on time performance is achieved.
- Conducting transportation data analytics and cost research.
- Primary interface with Customer Ramp Operation.
- Responsible for all departmental work schedules, managing weekly schedules to ensure targets are met efficiently with the correct shift manning.
- Responsible for employee discipline and corrective actions in compliance with the regulations (Security / Country / Customer / Safety / Food Safety / SQOR / Company Rules and Procedures).
- Participates in PRIDE/Squad and takes the lead in the investigations of incidents/accidents within their span/areas of control.
- Developing metrics for transportation analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field;
- Professional qualification in operations/logistics preferred.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience of managing teams within a Food Hygiene/Health and Safety/high security environment preferred.
- Green Belt / Black Belt Certification
- Knowledge in probability, statistics and basic programming (e.g. Python)
- Experience in management and implementation of Lean Six Sigma projects
- Must have 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience
- Fluent English
- Experience with scheduling and forecasting labor preferred
- In-flight catering experience or experience in a high-volume food service industry highly desirable
- Must have strong and effective leadership skills and have successfully managed a staff of 20-30
- Direct contract with the client.
- Salary in accordance with professional experience.
